THE SWIMMING POOL CHAIR
A wheelchair designed for public or private swimming pools, aquatic centers, thalassotherapy and fitness centres, etc.
Imagine being able to go to the swimming pool without having to face a whole series of obstacles. Imagine that your town's pool has thought of you and provided a wheelchair so that you can move around freely in the building without having to use your street chair, and therefore damage it. The hippocampe has been designed to resist water and can be loaned in the changing rooms and travel with you through the showers. It is very easy to handle. With its steerable front wheel, corridors are a breeze and it can worn its way everywhere. With its water-repellent seat, it has no fear of water and provides maximum comfort.
There are three ways to get to the pool : you can go down the access ramp and then lift yourself out of the hippocampe which floats. You can also use the brakes to stop the chair, transfer yourself to the floor tiles beside the pool and then get into the pool. Or, you can go down small steps accompagnied by a third person and reach the water.
