Born in Auckland (New-Zealand) in 1954, Paul Speight has a big passion in his life : Sport, and especially sailing, tennis and in the All Black country, Rugby !
Paraplegic due to a car accident at the age of 21 years old, he decided to learn sit skiing and is become one of the first sit ski monitors in 1980. Then, he became the captain of the New Zeland Disabled Ski Team during the Insbrück Paralympic games in 1988.
At the end of 1988, he decided to create Spokes'n Motion in the Denver, Colorado (USA). With the collaboration of Enabling Technologies, he participated at the conception of the Bi-Unique and Outriggers Superlite which will be a revolution in the sit ski domain.
In 15 years, Spokes'n Motion is become the leader distributor of Alpine and Nordic skiing equipment in the USA.
Following the american success, a european subsidiary opened in 2003 in Toulouse (France). This french office allowed to Spokes'n Motion developing its activities and is now offering a wide range of sport and recreationnal equipment. Besides, the european office is a export platform for French companies like, Tessier, Vipamat, and Magelan.
